I absolutely love this place and everything about it. The service is attentive, the selection of wine is big and well selected, the ambience is warm and cozy, the interior beautifully chosen and the food is fantastic. I had a lovely dinner with a friend there last week. The quality and selection of food is great, very delicious. They've got something for everyone to find even though the menu is small. They even check for food allergies beforehand and are super friendly helping out with any questions. Go and check it out. It's a beautiful place.
Had a wonderful dinner on Saturday night, the place was busy but not too loud. Service was very attentive and the food definitely impressed! The broccoli steak was perfectly seasoned and the asparagus was just properly cooked. Had the tiramisu to finish it all off - loved the creative presentation, just would have wished a stronger coffee taste, it was a bit too creamy. I still cleaned up the plate though :))) The open kitchen was fascinating but my clothes didn’t smell after the visit, which was also great!
Great food and great menu! I had the ham hock to start, fillet for main and the cheese board to finish. The only downside was that we were rushed out for another table and it would have been nice to take more time to finish my wine
What better way to start the weekend than with excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere: In Salute! in Islington you can watch the food being prepared, while sitting in a pleasant place. We were served friendly, all wishes were fulfilled. It not only looks, it tastes fantastic. It is like in a fary tale! We will come back, to enjoy beautifully prepared food in a cosy space. HIghly recommended!
Such high rating on TripAdvisor and Google made me expect a lot. The atmosphere is nice and it's cool to see the chef cooking. However, the service is just so so. When I ask for recommendations for the main, the waitress kept saying "it's equally good, all very popular, depends on what you want." Not very helpful. You also don't get much attention during the meal. The squid appetizer is nice but nothing outstanding. The base tastes like yummy version of tomato pasta. The main hake is nice but nothing blown me away. For a restaurant 50+ ppl (food only), I've had better. Again, maybe I set my expectations too high.
